Here’s how I prep the brooder room: checking heating lamps, setting up deep litter, sanitizing waterers, and mixing in electrolytes. Pre-warming the space 24 hours prior makes all the difference for a strong start. 🐣🌑️

Starting count: 351 chicks (326 Broilers, 10 Turkeys, 15 Cockerels)

Mortality: Only 3 total (1 Broiler, 1 Turkey, 1 Cockerel)

Moving 348 strong, healthy birds into their new big space today! 🐣✨ Out of 351 chicks, we’ve maintained a 99% survival rate over nearly 3 weeks just 1 broiler, 1 turkey, and 1 cockerel lost.
