Shift Away from that Old Mentality about going to School

In the immediate olden days, many people saw academics as the only way to be counted as relevant in the society, especially in Africa. Those days, most people that were serious with their lives would do anything just to go through school.

From those days till today, many people have not been able to shift away from that ancient mindset. They still think that the only way to better their lives and those of their loved ones is through academics. But that is a very huge mistake.

I am not trying to degrade the importance of school academics in the life of an individual. However, it is alarming to see that the mindset of some people can make academics a weapon against them. Let me start proving things so that I can get you closer to what I am saying.

Do you know that some musicians and footballers were not able to go through a formal higher education? Yes, many of them. Yet, the amount of wealth they have amassed for themselves is not something many average Nigerians can imagine. So, what am I trying to say?

What I am trying to say is that it is better for you to take other things apart from academics serious. You should start sending your loved ones to places where they can learn contemporary skills like football, music, tech e.t.c. If you want to make a little boy to be good at football in the future, then send him to a football academy. If you want him to be a tech wizard, enrol him in practical tech learning centres. That way, you are moulding him into a better and relevant person.

From today, know that academics can enlighten but may not fetch you much money especially in Africa. Learn things that would make companies go crazy just to have you. From there you can make enough money to create your own brand.

Feminism is an Unnecessary Movement (not totally bad though); Wife Bullying is an Act of Wickedness and a Sign of Cowardice

In today's world, feminism has taken over many women. Even some ignorant women (some men are also ignorant, so I am not trying to demean any woman) who aren't that good at thinking have carried up the movement on their heads. In my opinion, those women who carry feminism up and down are just wasting their energy for nothing. Who are you trying to convince? Certainly, it is not the foolish men who go about downgrading the dignity of women. Could it be the men whom their culture relegates women to the background? This one is almost impossible because they grew up with it. Okay, is it the men who naturally cherish women? That means you are just wasting your energy for nothing. What even pains me is that some of the so-called feminists do not understand the concept of feminism. You call yourself a feminist, yet you expect men to give you money just because you are a woman. Let me shock you; a true feminist will never be a pr******te because pr******tes depend on men for money.

Some young girls have foolishly followed the extreme path of feminism in which they want to control a man. They want the young men in their lives to submit to them. Those girls are not thinking it straight.

Let's talk about the men bullying their wives or other women. Any man that has made a hobby out of beat his wife is a fool. Why on earth would a man beat his wife like a punching bag? As a man, if you beat your wife or any other woman just because you are stronger than them, you are the greatest coward that your town has ever produced. Why not find other men and test out your boxing skills on them?
