Characters: Aisha, Fatima, Zainab

Scene: Three friends are sitting together at school.

Aisha: Fatima, why didn't you tell us about your test result?

Fatima: I was afraid you would laugh at me because I didn't do well.

Zainab: We won't laugh at you. A good friend should support and encourage you.

Aisha: That's right. We can help you study for the next test.

Fatima: Thank you. I feel much better now.

Zainab: Remember, friends may make mistakes or have different opinions, but we should listen and respect each other.

Aisha: And if we disagree, we should talk calmly instead of fighting.

Fatima: I understand. A good friendship is about kindness, respect and support.

All: A good friend cares, listens, respects and supports!

SESSION 2: BUILDING FRIENDSHIPS BY MENTOR HABIBA MUSA DOGO ❤️

Meaning of Friendship

Friendship is a positive relationship between people based on care, trust, respect and support. Good friends listen to each other, communicate honestly and show kindness.

Qualities of a Good Friend

A good friend:

Shows respect and kindness.

Listens and communicates honestly.

Keeps trust and avoids gossip.

Encourages and supports others.

Respects differences.

Importance of Friendship

Healthy friendships help us feel accepted, supported and connected. They also help us learn communication, cooperation, empathy and problem-solving.

Communication and Listening

Good communication means expressing our thoughts and feelings respectfully. We should listen when others speak and avoid shouting, insults or embarrassing them.

Empathy

Empathy means understanding and caring about another person's feelings. We should try to understand how our words and actions may affect others.

Respecting Differences

People may have different opinions, interests, abilities and backgrounds. We should respect these differences and avoid mocking or discriminating against others.

Solving Problems

Disagreements can happen between friends. We should:

Stay calm.

Listen to each other.

Speak respectfully.

Avoid insults, threats and fighting.

Seek a peaceful solution.

Tell a trusted adult if the situation is serious or unsafe.

Key Message

A healthy friendship is built on respect, trust, kindness, communication and understanding. A true friend will not pressure, threaten, bully or deliberately harm you.

🌸 PRESENTATION OF SESSION 1: MY SAFE SPACE 🌸

Today, we had an inspiring and engaging presentation on “My Safe Space”, facilitated by Mentor Habiba Musa Dogo of Government Day Technical College, Azare. 💕📚

The session focused on helping adolescent girls understand what a safe space means and why it is important to have environments where they feel protected, respected, valued, heard, and supported. 🌷🤝

Through meaningful discussions and participation, the girls were encouraged to recognize safe and unsafe spaces, speak up when they feel uncomfortable, and seek support from trusted adults when needed. 💪🏽🌟

✨ Every girl deserves a space where she can learn, grow, express herself, and feel safe. ✨

Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to share. 🤍🌙

On 27th September, I had the privilege of sharing food with others, and it was a beautiful reminder that even a simple act of kindness can carry great reward.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us the importance of feeding others and spreading peace and kindness.

May Allah accept this little effort as Sadaqah, put Barakah in it, and make it a means of reward for everyone who contributed and participated. May He also bless us with more opportunities to put smiles on people's faces and ease someone's burden. 🤲🏽

📚🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROJECT | GOVERNMENT DAY TECHNICAL COLLEGE, AZARE 🎒📚

As part of the Back-to-School Project, writing materials were distributed to students of Government Day Technical College, Azare, to support them as they resume their academic activities.

The materials were generously donated by Agile Siswache and distributed by:

🌟 Mentor Azumi Sunday

The donation included 316 exercise books (60 leaves each) and pens, provided to help students have some of the essential materials needed for their studies.

We sincerely appreciate Agile for this thoughtful initiative and commitment to supporting students and education.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn with the right materials. Together, we can make a difference. ❤️📖
