An act is not a habit, because it does not occur daily.
What you do once a week or a month is not a habit. It’s an obligation.
You may abandon it someday.
When you form a habit, it becomes automatic. According to Charles Duhigg, it starts with a trigger, then the behaviour itself, and a reward (good or bad) for that behaviour. It thus becomes automated in the future.
You may not be aware it happens but it just happens every day because your brain has registered it in its log book with an auto button turned on. 😁
Habits can change, however. When the trigger is no longer there, there is bound to be a change.
You have the freedom to remake the habits.
Habits are not seen only in your personal life. Businesses 🏢 also have work habits.
These businesses even monitor 🔍 the habits of their customers or prospects to leverage them for profit.
Choose your habit.
It is up to you to turn up every day.
What is your opinion on habit?
The work you turn up to do in the office every day, is it a habit or an obligation?🫣😄
