DEGREE OF NEEDS IN ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT.

* NEED FOR ACHIEVEMENT(nAch):
This is fear of failure or a strong desire to overcome challenges. For each individual, these need can be high or moderate. Those with higher need for achievement are eager for responsibilities and take risk for a job. They perform well in competitive jobs. Those with moderate desire sets moderately achievable goals with less risk and perform poorly in competitive jobs and situations.

* NEED FOR POWER(nPOW):
It simply means, the need to be in control of other people and the environment,thereby influencing people and the situation. People who desire to be influential,do have prestige more than productivity in the job.

* NEED FOR AFFILIATION(nAFF):
This is a desire to work in a pleasant environment with friendly and close relationship with people irrespective of their position in the organization. People high on this need seek meaningful relationship, avoid decisions that opposed the group and are interested in high morale than productivity.

These needs can directly or indirectly interferes with productivity due to:
- Lack of effective guidance as a result of extreme rapport between the manager and the subordinate.
-Self centeredness.
-Poor planning and inefficient managerial skills.
