A WEARY LOST SOUL'S QUESTION TO GOD
I've been thinking and asking yet nothing to hold on to.
Seeking to know why I'm hurt,
You said no peace for the wicked but even the good ones suffer violence and unrest.
Why do you take our love ones the time they are needed most?
Why are the innocent persecuted?
Why do evil prevail?
So many why but no answers to fit.
I thought you are Merciful and Caring,
I thought your love is infinite and you are just.
I remember your promise to Noah and your words in Psalm 91,
I read that daily to little mike yet he died and Johnny imprisoned without cause.
Why do we have to suffer and feel pain?
Even when we ask for courage to overcome then comes a great storm to break you down to pieces,
You said we need Faith to be strong still we added fasting to it.
With all this happening I some times doubt the existence of heaven,
I really mean no disrespect Lord,
But I need answers to heal I'm really drowned in pain and brokenness.
