Tantita Sponsors Bini Riva Life Festival as Riverine Culture, Unity and Tourism Take Centre Stage
The grand finale of the Bini Riva Life Festival held on August 16, 2026, was a landmark celebration of riverine culture, unity and tourism, drawing thousands of people from communities around the Bini River, traditional, government and corporate stakeholders to Oboghoro Community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited was among the key sponsors of the festival, with full representation at the event led by Chief Goodluck Hills and other company delegates.
The festival brought together diverse riverine communities in a vibrant celebration of our Niger Delta’s shared heritage, water life and cultural identity.
The event featured a colourful array of activities, including boat regattas and river races, fishing competitions, cultural performances from different ethnic communities, traditional displays, music, art exhibition and a showcase of the rich heritage of Niger Delta coastal communities.
It also attracted high-level dignitaries, including Federal Ministers, commissioners, the local government chairman and the esteemed presence of the Olu, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, announced plans to feature Bini Riva Life in the Ministry’s annual festival calendar, highlighting its tourism potential. The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, also outlined ongoing plans to improve telecommunications access across riverine communities.
Tantita’s involvement and contribution to the success of the festival reflect the endless possibilities that emerge when communities, institutions and the private sector come together in peace, unity and shared purpose to build a greater Niger Delta.
