🌿 WHEN YOU ADMIRE SOMETHING, ASK ALLAH TO BLESS IT.
Perhaps someone bought a beautiful house, got married, had a baby, achieved something wonderful, started a business, memorised Qur'an, improved her hijab, gained knowledge, or simply has a blessing that made your heart admire it.
What should come out of our mouths?
“Allahumma baarik.”
“BaarakAllahu feek/feeki.”
“May Allah bless it.”
Not because we are accusing ourselves of having an evil eye.
Not because every compliment means we are jealous.
But because Allah has taught us to recognise that blessings come from Him, and the Sunnah teaches us to pray for blessing when we admire something.

🤍 SO WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU LIKE…
Instead of simply saying:
“Wow, she's so beautiful!”
Say:
“Mā shā Allah, Allahumma baarik.”

When you see something beautiful in someone's home, clothing, work, talent or life:
Pray for barakah.
Because you lose nothing by making du‘ā for another Muslim.
In fact, it is an expression of love.

May Allah bless every blessing we see in one another and protect us from the evil eye, envy and every form of harm.
Allahumma baarik lana wa lahum. 🤲🏽

🤍 WHEN YOU ADMIRE IT, BLESS IT WITH DU‘Ā.
Don't just admire.
Make du‘ā.
Don't just compliment.
Make du‘ā.
Don't let admiration remain on your tongue as mere praise.
Turn it into an act of love and worship.
Train your tongue to say:
مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ، اللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ
Mā shā Allah, Allahumma baarik.
“Whatever Allah has willed; O Allah, bless it.”

Sincerely, this is something we really need to take seriously. In regards to Zina (fornication) in the Qur'an, Allah said "لا تقربوا زني" meaning "don't go close to Zina". Take note please: Allah didn't say don't commit zina. HE said Don't go close. Because once you go close to it, there is 99.9% that you will FALL. This is not just only about zina. Avoid everything that leads to haram so you don't fall into it.

May Allah continue to safeguard our eemaan for us all, aameen!

IbaaduLlah Hub was born from my deep love for the Qur'an and the joy I find in teaching it.

Over the years, I discovered that teaching the Qur'an does not only help others. It constantly reminds me that I, too, am a lifelong student of Allah's Book.

What started as a passion for teaching gradually became a bigger vision: to help Muslimahs build a relationship with the Qur'an that goes beyond mere recitation.

A relationship where they learn it, recite it correctly, memorise it, reflect upon it and most importantly, live by it.
Because I believe the Qur'an should never be at the bottom of our priorities. It is our guide, our comfort and our light through life's journey.

IBAADULLAH HUB is therefore more than an online Qur'an class. It is a growing community of learners striving to become people of the Qur'an.

WHAT IS TAJWEED?

Tajweed is about giving the كلام of Allah its due right when we recite it.

The word Tajweed (التجويد) linguistically comes from the Arabic root:
ج و د
It comes from the verb:
جَوَّدَ – يُجَوِّدُ – تَجْوِيدًا
which means:
«To make something good, excellent, beautiful, precise or perfected.»

In simple terms, linguistically, Tajweed means:
Doing something properly and excellently.
