Professor Salisu was the first person to graduate with a First Class Degree from KUST Wudil and now became the first member of the Alumni serving in KUST to attain the rank of full Professor.
Prof. Salisu Mamman Abdulrahman is a distinguished scholar in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil. Over the years, he has made remarkable contributions to the university’s growth through his leadership as Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, his mentorship of students, and his pioneering work in Artificial Intelligence education and research.
His research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Software Modelling. He has authored several influential publications in reputable international journals and conferences, including works featured in the ACM Digital Library and Machine Learning journal. His research has earned numerous citations on Google Scholar and ResearchGate, reflecting his impact within the global academic community.
Beyond academia, Prof. Salisu is an active voice in advancing AI policy and technology-driven education in Nigeria. He frequently speaks at national and international forums on the future of AI in tertiary education and its role in national development.
