After more than thirty years working across cultures and companies, one thing has become very clear to me. Trust is what makes work possible.

When leaders build trust early, teams align faster, communicate more openly, and perform with more confidence. When trust is missing, even simple work becomes harder than it needs to be.

This insight led me to create a second company, With Trust.

Belonging falters when employees feel opportunities are only for a select few. Inclusive career development means seeing the potential in everyone and understanding their unique aspirations.

Practical Tip: Proactively "tap the shoulder" of high-potential individuals who may not self-promote (often women or those from underrepresented backgrounds). Ask them directly about their career goals, not just their current projects. Then, actively sponsor them for visible assignments. This signals that everyone has a path to success.
