The loudest AI skeptics are usually the ones who've always had leverage.
Executives with ghostwriters.
Research teams.
PR agencies.
They've had support for decades. It just wasn't called AI.
But when the solopreneur, the immigrant, the non-native speaker gets access to similar leverage?
Suddenly it's dangerous.
Suddenly we need warnings.
For some of us, AI isn't a shortcut. It's the first tool that doesn't come with humiliation attached.
The argument that AI robs you of agency... robs you of agency.
I trust people to think for themselves. To use tools consciously. To know the difference between support and surrender.
Refusal doesn't stop the shift. It just removes your voice from it.
