De generatiekloof in organisaties bestaat helemaal niet.

Veel organisaties ervaren dat m.n. jongeren zich niet meer voor langere tijd willen binden of minder commitment voelen. Steeds vaker geven medewerkers aan dat zij minder vervulling voelen in hun werk of ze raken teveel energie kwijt, met stress of burn-out tot gevolg. Of ze voelen zich minder uitgedaagd in wat zij allemaal in huis hebben en wat zij zelf belangrijk vinden.

Wat is hier aan de hand? Gaat dit over de generatiekloof? Heeft dit allemaal te maken met de nieuwe generatie, of brengt zij juist iets veel groters aan het licht?

*** Generatiekloof blijkt verschuiving naar nieuw tijdperk ***

In het project ‘New Spirit’ heb ik met mijn collega bij de International School of Entrepreneurship en met partners uit Nederland en Oostenrijk 2 jaar onderzoek gedaan naar de ‘kloof’ tussen de oude en nieuwe generatie en we ontdekten dat dit eigenlijk geen generatiekloof is, maar dat we met elkaar opschuiven naar een nieuw tijdperk. Een nieuw paradigma waar niet langer winst en productiviteit centraal staan, maar het welzijn, de voldoening en de ontwikkeling van mens en organisatie. En niet alleen jongeren voelen zich aangetrokken door dit nieuwe paradigma.

We ontdekten hoe veel het oplevert als dit thema in organisaties niet ‘onder de oppervlakte’ blijft, maar open kan worden besproken.

Op 26 maart a.s. presenteren wij onze bevindingen op een inspiratiedag over de ‘generatiekloof’. Je maakt uitgebreid kennis met onze toolbox, vol vormen om dit thema aan het werk te gaan.

Je ontmoet andere coaches, trainers, managers en medewerkers die geïnteresseerd zijn in dit onderwerp.

We hebben Onno van Bekkum (mede-auteur van Regio 4.0) bereid gevonden een lezing te geven over samenwerking in organisaties en de ontwikkeling van mens 3.0 naar mens 4.0.

Deze inspiratiedag vindt plaats bij het Earth Smiles Huis in Tiel op 26 maart van 10-16 uur. Je leest er nog meer over op de website van the International School of Entrepreneurship (zie link in de comments).

We are really excited that Marleen Groeneveld will guide the next Source4Success community meeting. We will explore the world of breathing. When using our breath, it’s easy to ‘unplug’ in a world full of distraction, which helps to be present in the here and now and to improve our intuitive gifts. We will do some breath exercises to increase our body awareness and to easily plug into the field of infinite intelligence, the source. This will help us to be fully aware of what our intuition is telling us.

I think we should get rid of goals. They don't help us.

Goals help me to focus, to connect with my desires.

At the same time they block my flow, they narrow my attention, they create a kind of stress in me.

So in the past 10 years, I have developed a different way of working with goals. Or rather, I don't work with goals anymore. This makes it so much easier to follow the flow, let things emerge, embrace the now, and at the same time create great results!

In today's Source4Success community meeting, we will explore the topic of An Intuitive Approach To Goal Setting.

It is today, January 11 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM Amsterdam time.

Together with my colleague Frédérique te Dorsthorst, we will explore different ways of working with goals. How to benefit from the positive aspects of goals and at the same time find ways to circumvent the bad side of goals. Or should we get totally rid of goals? And how do we get things done then?

We are on the train back from Vienna where we met with our partners in the New Spirit project.
We kicked off this wonderful project which is aimed at bridging the gap between Young Professionals and corporate culture.
We will create a toolbox and conceptual handbook about working with different generations and the related cultures, helping young professionals find their place in organizations, and managers to create a stimulating environment for young adults to flourish.
