8 YEARS OF SAINT CLAIRMONT 🤍🎈
Today, Saint Clairmont turns 8.
Eight years ago, I started this little jewelry brand from home with no idea where it would take me. And looking back now, I can honestly say: I could never have imagined this.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because Saint Clairmont has become so much more than making and selling jewelry.
It has become my purpose, my passion and my mission. Something that feels deeply connected to who I am and what I am meant to do.
And so often along the way, I’ve had moments where I thought: this cannot be a coincidence.
The right people appearing at exactly the right time. Doors opening when I least expected them. Opportunities I could never have planned myself. Things falling into place in ways that made me feel like there was something bigger guiding this journey.
And while Saint Clairmont started as just me, it has slowly grown into something where I don’t have to do everything completely on my own anymore. 🤍
And that all in my dream studio in Doetinchem, the Netherlands🫶🏼

Today, Saint Clairmont has grown to more than 300 retailers across Europe and beyond. More than 45.000 pieces of jewelry have been made and gone through my hands!
I still get to handmake jewelry, create custom pieces and engrave some of the most precious and personal things people own.
Fingerprints. Handwriting. Names. Dates. Little drawings. Memories.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And that might be the part I am most grateful for.
Because these aren’t just pieces of jewelry. They carry stories, love, memories and meaning. Sometimes they celebrate a new beginning, sometimes a milestone, and sometimes they hold a piece of someone who is no longer here.
Being trusted with those stories is something I will never take for granted.

Een dagje vrij✨ Morgen ben ik alleen vroeg in de ochtend nog een last-minute order maken en daarna is het atelier dicht. Mijn linkerhand schiet constant in de kramp en doet met bepaalde bewegingen pijn sinds gisteren. Het was duidelijk een te drukke twee weken🥹. Morgen ben ik met mijn zoontje naar het Naturalis Biodiversity Center om even iets anders te doen dan werken en nog van zijn vakantie te genieten!
Maandag ben ik er natuurlijk weer en hopelijk met weer uitgeruste handen om mooie sieraden te maken!🫶🏼🪄

A day off! ✨ Tomorrow, I just have to finish a last-minute order early in the morning, and then the studio will be closed. My left hand keeps cramping up and hurts when I make certain movements, it’s been that way since yesterday. It’s clear the past two weeks have been way too busy. 🥹 Tomorrow, I’m taking my little boy to the Naturalis Biodiversity Center to do something other than work and enjoy the rest of his holiday!
I’ll be back on Monday, of course hopefully with rested hands ready to create beautiful jewelry! 🫶🏼🪄

Happy mega drukke Monday🫶🏼! Ik was voor mijn doen vroeg op, om de van dit weekend in totaal 212(!) bestelde sieraden te gaan maken. Toen was de brug afgesloten net voor mijn atelier en kwam ik er eenmaal in het atelier aangekomen achter ik dat ik mijn telefoon niet meeegenomen had thuis🥹. Na nog een ritje naar huis ga ik nu snel aan de slag! Straks komen er nog een moeder en dochter die in de buurt op vakantie zijn, om samen een sieraad te laten maken.🩷 En vanavond gezellig naar de zomeravonden in het Nederlands Openluchtmuseum🌞

Niet de meest soepele opstart, maar wel een hele leuke Monday🥰

Happy, super-busy Monday 🫶🏼! I was up early, for me at least, to start making the in total 212(!) pieces of jewelry that had been ordered this weekend. Then, the bridge right before my studio was closed off, and once I finally arrived, I realized I’d left my phone at home 🥹. After a quick trip back to get it, I’m finally getting to work! Later on, a mother and daughter who are vacationing nearby are coming by to have a piece of jewelry made together. 🩷 And tonight, I’m off to enjoy the ‘Summer Evenings’ event at the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum 🌞

I’m back! Vandaag heb ik al veel orders kunnen maken van de afgelopen twee weken, dit waren er een héleboel (zie alle stories!) Morgen ga ik verder met de rest en met de wholesale orders🥰.
De vakantie heeft me goed gedaan en ik heb er weer helemaal zin in om mooie sieraden te maken🫶🏼.
