Happy Women's Day, ladies! ❤️

I'm so proud of you all. Doing business, buiding a family or managing both at the same time, you are rocking it. Womanhood is the biggest support I've ever had and I'm truly in awe of women lifting each other up. We're not competing anymore, we're fighting for each other.

A woman's success is not determined by how much money she's made or how many children she's raised. A woman's success is determined by her own goals and achievements. And that's the tea.

Beautiful in Haarlem 🤍

We were trying to capture a cozy afternoon in one of my favorite Dutch cities, while strolling around and looking for the best spots to shoot at. Haarlem has so many of those, but somehow the ones that feel the most cozy are the ones you find once you get lost.

So get lost, guys. Especially at a location you haven't shot at yet. That's where the magic happens. 💫

Feed design for ✨

I'm personally not a fan of vertical or horizontal feed designs as those are way out of fashion and very not 2021. Of course, it depends on your brand and what your audience wants to see, but if you do have an opportunity to make your feed look good and authentic without using a symmetrical layout and overdone filters, go for it!

Here are my tips on how to make your feed look 🔥 this year:

~ keep your branding colors as the base
~ include different angles and types of content
~ don't use filters or make them as neutural as possible
~ make sure there isn't two similar pictures close to one another (❗️)
~ include people and human elements
~ always think of your target audience and what they would like to see when they enter your IG page

Natural habitat: social media manager edition 📱👩‍💻☕️

I downloaded the app 'Moment' a few months ago after reading an amazing book by the Dutch writer and psychologist Thijs Launspach called 'Fokking druk' ('F*cking busy'). The app counts how many hours you spend looking at your phone screen and sends you constant reminders if your're on your phone for too long. It turnes out that I spend around 7 hours on my phone daily. A WHOLE SEVEN HOURS. 🤯

Considering I try to sleep about 7 hours a day, that's almost one third of my day. And it doesn't even count the time I spend behind my laptop. Obviously, I don't just scroll through my personal Instagram the whole time. 👉 I work. For clients and projects.

Community management, content creation, editing, influencer marketing and social media analytics are not just 'posting a pretty picture on instgaram'. It's consistency. It's research. It's constantly learning. But most importantly, it's time-consuming. ⏰

Still wondering if social media managing is worth the investment? Of course it is.

Unless you have the expertise and a spare 7 hours a day to do it yourself.

CTA is a social media must. 💯📌

What do you want your audience to do after reading your post? Well, tell them to do it and there is a big chance they will. 👀 Before forming a CTA, think about what your goal is and if it connects well with the information you're giving. And don't forget to make it easy to find, keeping the text short and simple.

〰️ my parents are both Ukrainian, but I lived in the Netherlands since I was 13 y.o. so I'm lost in between the two 🙆‍♀️
〰️ I used to hate cats, until one day we found an abandoned colony of cats in Madrid, and I ended up taking one of them back to Holland (and completely fell in love obviously) 🐱
〰️ I looove traveling and think investing in traveling helps you advance as a person and as a professional
〰️ I'm getting an online Master's degree in Communications and Media in Sweden
〰️ I mostly eat plant-based and can't live a day without vegetables 🌱
〰️ Since a year ago I fell in love with vinyasa yoga, it helps me relax and be in the moment ✨
