has been part of the DRDS team for a few weeks now. After starting his career in accounting and finance, he made the switch to project management. Because spending all day looking at numbers turned out to be a little less exciting than working with people and projects. 😉

At DRDS, Brad works as a Project Manager, focusing on Special Projects and Store Refresh projects across EMEA. Different countries, teams and projects keep things interesting and provide exactly the variety he enjoys.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find Brad at the gym, joining our DRDS bootcamp or spending time with friends. He also loves traveling and trying new things. And when it comes to a good drink together? He usually doesn’t need much convincing.

𝐀 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐩. 🌿
For the new Dille & Kamille store, DRDS was responsible for the complete project management part. From the preparation phase through to final handover, we led the project and ensured that all parties involved came together at the right time.
As this was a brand-new location, the store was built entirely from scratch. New technical installations were installed, the walls and ceilings received Dille & Kamille's signature white finish, a new oak wooden floor was laid, and the façade was completed with the brand's recognizable awning and signage.

Our role? Managing the schedule, coordinating all activities and ensuring the project ran smoothly from start to finish.
Our colleague led the project, with .s taking over during the final phase to ensure a successful completion.
We are proud of the final result and would like to thank all project partners for the great collaboration. 👏

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐀𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧. 𝐀𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲! 🛏️
For this new store , the project started with demolition rather than construction. The existing store had to be completely stripped out before we could begin transforming the space into Auping’s new concept and appearance.

From DRDS, we managed the entire project and coordinated the ex*****on from start to finish. This included overseeing the painting works, flooring, interior installation, architectural modifications and the new exterior signage.

Our colleague .roering led the project and ensured that all involved parties stayed closely aligned throughout the process.
Great to see how an empty shell was transformed into a completely new store.

Meet Leo de Groot, who has been part of DRDS since the past three months as a Project Coordinator.
Originally from Zevenhuizen, near Rotterdam, Leo now lives in Nijverdal. He brings a wealth of international experience, enabling him to adapt quickly, take ownership and enjoy working together with others to successfully deliver projects.

About working at DRDS, Leo says:� "What I really appreciate about DRDS is the combination of professionalism and an informal, approachable working environment. We work together as one team towards the same goal: satisfied clients and successful projects."

Outside of work, Leo enjoys spending time with family and friends, but he's also passionate about taking on sporting challenges. Whether it's riding a Gran Fondo through the Alps or running an ultratrail, setting goals, training and constantly pushing his limits is what keeps him motivated.

𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧! 🔵
For this project, we managed the complete preparation and ex*****on of the new Coolblue store in Leiden. From the initial planning phase through to ex*****on, we oversaw the entire project. Our responsibilities included project preparation, obtaining permits, developing and managing the project schedule, monitoring the budget, comparing quotations and procuring materials.

The new store was built in a shell-and-core building that was fully transformed into a modern Coolblue store. At the same time, the existing store was carefully cleared out, allowing the move to the new location to take place smoothly.

Our colleagues .roering and led this project, ensuring that all parties involved remained closely aligned throughout the process. Thanks to careful planning and strong collaboration, another great result was achieved.

Over the past few months, we have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting retail projects, both in the Netherlands and abroad. From new store openings and remodels to complete transformations, each project came with its own challenges, planning and story.

As a project management partner, we make sure all the pieces come together at the right time. Behind every opening, renovation and handover is a team that thinks ahead, adapts quickly and keeps the entire process on track from start to finish. A great mix of projects that we have proudly delivered together with our clients and partners.

𝐌𝐜𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝'𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐞 𝗪𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝! 🍔
We are proud to look back on the successful completion of the remodel of McDonald's Enschede Woonplein. Our colleagues, .rupert and , led this project from start to finish, ensuring that all parties involved stayed closely aligned throughout the process.

The restaurant has been completely transformed to meet the latest McDonald's standards. The lobby received a brand-new interior, including an integrated McCafé. In addition, the restrooms, crew room and changing rooms were fully renovated, while the kitchen was upgraded with new equipment and a Modular Counter.

At DRDS, we were responsible for the overall project coordination during both the preparation and ex*****on phases. We managed the schedule, coordinated all stakeholders and ensured that the construction works, technical installations and interior fit-out were seamlessly aligned.

Although the project started one week later than originally planned, everyone involved worked closely together to recover lost time. Thanks to the flexibility, commitment and collaboration of all parties, the project was successfully completed on the planned handover date.

For the past three months, has been strengthening the DRDS team. And as he likes to say himself: he comes from the beautiful Münsterland region, in Stadtlohn. 😉

With his experience, enthusiasm and hands-on mentality, he is a great addition to our team. What Hendrik appreciates most about DRDS? The open and friendly way of working together, where projects are truly delivered as a team effort. Always with the same goal in mind: a satisfied client and a strong end result.

Outside of work, Hendrik enjoys spending time with his family and dog, and loves going for walks and bike rides.

𝐃𝐑𝐃𝐒 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 🇪🇸
Yesterday, we celebrated our DRDS Summer Party at in Rijssen. With a Spanish theme, delicious food, refreshing drinks and a great evening with a live DJ and a special performance by the Caribbean Steelband, it was the perfect opportunity to look back on a year full of great projects, new challenges and successful collaborations, while also looking ahead to everything that is still to come.

Over the past year, we have not only delivered some fantastic projects, but our team has also grown significantly. Something we are incredibly proud of at DRDS.
We would like to thank our team, clients and partners for their trust and great collaboration throughout the past year.

And for those wondering: no, DRDS will not be spending the next six weeks by the pool. 😉 Our projects will continue as usual throughout the summer period.

We are proud to have contributed to the realization of the new Fastned Shop at the Velder location.

From the initial planning phase through to completion, DRDS was responsible for the project coordination. Our focus was on bringing all parties together, overseeing the planning and ensuring the ex*****on ran smoothly.

Projects like this bring together many different disciplines, including construction works, installations, site development and coordination between multiple stakeholders. That is exactly where our strength lies: maintaining oversight, connecting people and ensuring challenges are addressed quickly and effectively.

Led by .roering and , we worked closely with Fastned and all involved partners to deliver a location that is ready for the future. A place where visitors can charge their vehicles comfortably and that contributes to the continued growth of sustainable mobility.
