Studio Solarix werkt aan toekomstgerichte oplossingen die nu toepasbaar zijn. Onze energie opwekkende gevelpanelen zijn volledig geïntegreerd in de uitstraling van slimme gebouwen. Naast een gevel die energie levert, kunnen we met leds en sensoren SMART gevels maken die reageren op weersomstandigheden of voorbijgangers. Een actieve zonnegevel met een combinatie van schoonheid en hersens. Studio Solarix biedt het eigentijdse antwoord op slimme steden en de energietransitie.

A new Solarix solar facade is taking shape !

The Campus is a new office complex consisting of five buildings, currently under development at Park 20|20 in Hoofddorp Business Park, in the Amsterdam region.

For this project, 335 m² of Solarix Metallic Window Grey (ME-891) solar facade panels will be installed. The panels feature a hexagon pattern adding variation to the facade while also improving panel efficiency compared to a full-surface metallic finish.

.sWhat if the future of Dutch architecture could generate its own energy while restoring the landscape it stands in?

Polderlab Delft does exactly that. Designed by ZUS (Zones Urbaines Sensibles), the former Dutch farm is nestled in the green landscape between Rotterdam and Delft.

Inspired by the Dutch polders, the project reflects a landscape that has long been shaped by water. As the Netherlands continues to adapt to a changing climate, Polderlab shows how architecture can work with nature to create a more resilient future.

☀️ As part of the holistic design, 218 m² of Solarix solar panels have been integrated into the roof. Finished in Mist Blue from the Solarix Mono Collection, the panels were carefully colour-matched to the architecture, allowing renewable energy to become a natural extension of the building's design.

At Solarix, we’re looking for a Project Manager who combines a client-focused mindset with a strong understanding of architecture and construction. As we continue to grow internationally, you’ll play an important role in our projects, with a strong focus on the growing markets in Germany and Switzerland.

For this role, fluency in Dutch and English is required. German language skills are a strong plus.

On its way to Heidelberg, Germany!

354 m² of Solarix Metallic Amaranth Red (ME-855) BIPV facade panels are on their way to this exciting new-build project.

Paired with our frost glass, the panel achieves a sophisticated matte appearance that subtly softens the visibility of the underlying solar cells. At the same time, the combination of the metallic finish and diffused glass creates a rich, dynamic colour effect that changes beautifully with the angle of light.

We're looking forward to seeing these panels installed!

Captured on a beautiful summer day, here's a first look at the completed Leostraat residential redevelopment in Eindhoven, featuring 220 Solarix Terracotta rooftop solar panels.

Commissioned by Woonstichting 'thuis, designed by K+ Adviesgroep, and built by Van Grunsven Groep Bouw & ontwikkeling , the project delivers 102 new homes across five residential buildings in the Bloemenbuurt Noord district. Installed by Stym, the 220 Solarix rooftop solar panels provide a total installed capacity of 78.1 kWp, generating clean, on-site electricity while blending seamlessly with the neighbourhood's characteristic red roofscape.

Developed with sustainability at its core, the project combines circular construction methods with renewable energy generation to reduce its environmental impact and create a future-proof residential environment.

From there, our design team carefully develops and refines the colour through multiple sample iterations, exploring finishes, textures, and glass types to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and performance.

After evaluating colour accuracy, visual impact, and facade integration together with the client, selected samples are transformed into active solar panels to validate both appearance and energy yield before full production begins.
