Its a Crema di Limoncello, at 24% ABV.

Vodka,Lemon skins, Whole Milk and Sugarcane. And i think its fantastic!

Made it for the Guild contest and annual Liqueur theme at the end of the year. We'll see how it goes. Was a lot of fun to do!

I decided to leave it as it is without labels on it. Since i can easily make the distinguishment here at home what it is and i got the notes documented so.

Its a Crema di Limoncello, at 24% ABV. Vodka,Lemon skins, Whole Milk and Sugarcane. And i think its fantastic!

Exam Certificate of the course 'Advisory sales' in the pocket. I've been picking up some steam lately on the commercial side of things. Its slow.. but hey... i am also alone.. and providing for a family.. so yeah... challenges enough. Thing is, i dont quit.. even if it takes 30 years and no one tags along or believes... It doesnt matter to me anymore as my younger self would...

A day in the life of mead making, can look like this.

Hildisvíni to the left and Gullinbursti to the right. New Mead projects. One with mushrooms one with Rye bread. All above 14% ABV potential. Also, new fermenters from lets see how they hold up.

Tasting Summer Flowers Mead after nearly a year. Somehow it got fizzy over time. It was probably not enough Sulfites, tried to keep it low but it was probably not enough for the yeast to fully cease. As a fizzy it did end up nice though, although it was unintended. Would say it was a good project. Making notes for next time.

Summer Flowers Mead bottled. Ended up at ABV 10.8% at 1.015. It was a higher ABV at first but i backsweetened with some Sunflower honey and Elderflower extract to get the honey and flower notes to the front with a semi sweetness.

Initial taste like a smooth light mead with flower properties bursting through accompanied with some wood. I wanted it to scream flowers with subtle sweetness.

Letting it age and have a good test then. Initial impression is good!
