🌱 Første piloter på plass i Etiopia!

En stor milepæl for oss: De første pilotene med fersk fôrproduksjon er nå i gang i Legetafo i samarbeid med Gudina Tumsa Foundation - GTF og Koelim.

I mange områder er mangel på dyrefôr en av de største årsakene til lav melkeproduksjon og usikker mattilgang. Når dyr ikke får nok næring, faller produksjonen av melk, kjøtt og egg – og i verste fall må bønder gi fra seg dyr fordi de ikke har mat til dem.

Kjernen i matsikkerhet starter faktisk med mat til dyrene.
Når vi kan produsere ferskt, næringsrikt fôr lokalt, styrkes hele verdikjeden: bedre dyrehelse, mer melk, bedre kjøttkvalitet og mer stabil tilgang på mat i lokalsamfunnene.

Gjennom Innovate Future Africa leverer vi AquaGrow-teknologi i Etiopia. 7 dager fra du sår, og til du høster. Løsningen bruker opptil 95 % mindre vann og 95 % mindre land, og gir full kontroll på produksjonen – uavhengig av klima og tørke. Det gjør dette til en reell gamechanger for fôrtilgang i sårbare områder.

Dette er bare starten, og vi gleder oss til veien videre sammen med sterke lokale partnere.

Semi Naturals reimagines urban waste and empowers women by transforming coffee and lemon peel waste into high-quality essential oils for cosmetics and eco-cleaning products.

In Addis Ababa, over 20,000 kg of coffee waste and 37 tonnes of citrus peel are discarded daily—typically burned or left to rot, contributing to CO₂ emissions. Semi Naturals sources this waste directly from low-income street vendors, offering fair pay (20 birr/kg) while creating dignified, women-led employment in green manufacturing.
