🛰️ Testing navigation technology in real-world conditions!

Last week, our colleagues at AD Navigation took part in Jammertest in Andøya, Norway, for the fifth year running, together with their trusted partner Kystverket.

This year, the focus was on XR PPU Technology. Jammertest offers something a lab simply can’t: live, controlled jamming and spoofing scenarios that show exactly how the sensors behave when GNSS signals are under attack. The findings from these tests go directly back into further product development.

Since AD Navigation became part of Jotron in December 2025, their expertise and technology have become an important addition to our maritime navigation portfolio. ⚓

Great work by the team – and we look forward to seeing what comes from this year’s testing! 👏

🎉 25 years of UAB Jotron! 🇱🇹💙

Last weekend, we gathered in Kaunas to celebrate a very special milestone – 25 years of UAB Jotron! 🥳

What started in 2001 with just 7 employees has grown into Jotron’s primary manufacturing center, with more than 120 talented colleagues today.

It has been an incredible journey built on skilled people, teamwork, advanced technology, and a strong commitment to quality. And last weekend was all about celebrating the people who have made that journey possible. 🙌

A big thank you to everyone who has been part of these 25 years – past and present. Here’s to many more! 🥂✨

What an incredible few days in Hamburg! From great conversations and new connections to familiar faces stopping by our stand – SMM 2026 has been one to remember. 🌍

We loved seeing the curiosity and excitement around our new SATLOG and Jotron Product Passport (JPP) – and the great interest in our Portable Pilot Unit (PPU) throughout the week! 🚀

And then there was Taste of Norway! 🇳🇴🌺 A packed stand, lots of smiles, and our new shirts definitely helped set the mood. 😎

A new chapter for Jotron 💙

Yesterday, September 1, Rune Kristiansen officially took over as CEO of Jotron.

Rune has been part of Jotron since 2014, leading our ATC & Coastal Division, and now takes the next step to lead Jotron into the future.

He succeeds Merete Berdal, who has played an important role in shaping Jotron into the company we are today. After serving as CEO since 2014, Merete continues her Jotron journey as Chair of the Board.

A big thank you to Merete for her leadership and dedication – and congratulations to Rune on his new role! 👏
