This is a role for someone who enjoys variety — one day you might be solving technical challenges, the next you could be travelling internationally and meeting customers and partners from different parts of the world. So if you enjoy travelling, are outgoing by nature, and feel comfortable using English as your working language, this could be a great opportunity.

As a Support Engineer, you will work with technical support, troubleshooting, and service, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Our Sustainability Report is now available 🍀 👇

This year marks an important step forward in how we understand and manage our impact. We have completed a full quantification of all material Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions, giving us a stronger foundation for prioritizing and driving reductions.

We continue to align voluntarily with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), bringing us closer to full CSRD compliance and strengthening both transparency and decision-making.

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the annual technical workshop for CIRM (Comité International Radio-Maritime) — bringing together 75 participants from across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The workshop was held at the Scandic Park Sandefjord, the two-day program was packed with insightful discussions on key regulatory topics shaping the maritime industry. From IMO and IALA to ITU and IEC, the workshop provided a valuable platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment on future developments.

Beyond the meeting room, participants also experienced a bit of local culture — including a guided tour at the Whale Museum in Sandefjord and a visit to our headquarter in Larvik.

With strong engagement and meaningful exchanges throughout the workshop, CIRM and its members are now well prepared for the many important meetings ahead in 2026.

We were pleased to welcome our valued customer, Azeraeronavigation (AZANS), to Jotron for a successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) as part of an ongoing modernization project at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Azerbaijan.

The project includes the replacement of legacy VHF radio systems with Jotron’s latest generation of air traffic control (ATC) radios, designed to meet updated international aviation standards.

During the FAT, the system successfully demonstrated compliance with all key performance and quality requirements, confirming readiness for deployment. This milestone marks an important step toward enhancing operational capabilities at the airport, supporting safer and more efficient air navigation.

At Jotron, we are committed to delivering reliable, compliant, and future-ready communication solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the aviation industry.

We thank Azeraeronavigation (AZANS) for their strong collaboration and look forward to continuing our partnership in the next phase of the project.

✨ Connecting talent with opportunity ✨

On wednesday, several of our colleagues attended an engineering networking event at Hjertnes, organized by Globale Sandefjord. This pilot initiative aims to strengthen the connection between engineering talent and the local business community 🤩

Our HR Manager, Line Dybvik Møller, was among the panelists, sharing valuable insights, experiences, and practical advice for candidates entering—or advancing in—the engineering field.

Through presentations, panel discussions, and direct conversations, participants gained real insight into what employers are truly looking for—and how to get closer to those opportunities.

Because when we meet, share knowledge, and better understand each other, the path from competence to opportunity becomes a little shorter. 🚀
