Not all heroes wear capes. The crew of MV Tamesis is a shining example of selfless dedication to the safety of lives at sea and maintaining highest maritime traditions of assisting a fellow mariner. Our crew did not hesitate to respond to a request for assistance from JRCC Alameda to locate and provide for S/V Mayfly which was delayed by over 60 days due to bad weather and was very low on provisions. The USCG expresses their thanks to the crew for their outstanding seamanship, professionalism and effort to reach out to mariners in distress.
