From this Saturday's traverse of the jagged peaks surrounding Smørstabbreen in Hurrungane, Norway. The stars aligned and the weather was on our side, and we even completed the traverse before it got dark.

After a rainy night the sky gradually cleared up and revealed the stunning beauty of the jagged peaks and pinnacles of Molladalen. and took the opportunity to climb "Gullvafla" on the south wall of Jønshornet.

Saturdays traverse of Skagastølsryggen in summary: T-shirt weather, dry rock and plenty of nice scrambling. We even made it back to Turtagrø before sunset, despite an anti-alpine start.

Taking on the traverse from Trolltinden to Åbittinden gave us more time in the sun and even some ropework and a few climbing moves. Only a few people had put their tracks on Åbittinden last Saturday, allowing us to enjoy untouched snow on the way down.

We won an Outdoor Industry Award for our Duck Rings today!

Jury Statement:
We think this is a great idea. Training rings with all the functionality of a fingerboard, but lighter and more portable. They also function as rings to allow core training exercises and warm-up routines. The high-quality, ergonomic plywood construction feels great and wont wreck the skin on your fingertips.
