Studying at three elite universities across three different nations and at three different levels of education is an extraordinary achievement in itself. Not only Nepal, even world political and intellectual history has rarely witnessed a personality with such a unique blend of academic excellence, global exposure, and policy expertise.
Mr. Swarnim Wagle’s brilliance and contribution cannot truly be expressed in words. He was already doing exceptionally well abroad, serving in prestigious international organizations, and had no personal necessity to return. In fact, he was called by the government to contribute to the nation and bring his global experience back to Nepal.
Now, fingers crossed for the upcoming budget.
Hope for the best for Nepal’s future.
