the 2026 QBE AcceliCITY Challenge, led by and supported by QBE Foundation! Out of 950+
applicants from 77 countries, our smart city innovation was chosen to join a virtual accelerator designed to help
solutions like ours scale in cities around the world. We’re addressing the infamous plastic waste crisis, and we’re competing for
a $100,000 pilot project prize and a place at the Smart City Expo in Barcelona. Let’s build resilient cities

This World Environment Day, KleanIt Upcyclers and are teaming up to turn Cafe Zero into a live, hands-on upcycling station—and you're invited to see the magic happen! Instead of letting plastic end up in a landfill, come learn how to shred, melt, and mold it into functional items. 🛠️
🚀 Your Pre-Event Mission:
Scout: Look around your home or office for plastic waste.
Verify: Collect only No. 2 (HDPE) and No. 5 (PP) plastics (check the recycling triangle on the bottom!).
Clean: Wash and dry them completely.
Bring: Bring them with you to the event!

At Kleanit Upcyclers, in collaboration with Sustainable Design Studio, we are converting plastic waste into practical, everyday products through structured upcycling systems and material innovation.
This pen is manufactured using recycled PP plastic and post-consumer bottle caps, processed at our facility via injection molding — demonstrating that waste streams can be re-engineered into value-added products.
