Looking for a short trek with breathtaking views? The Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most beautiful and accessible adventures in the Annapurna region. The journey begins with a scenic 1-hour drive from Pokhara to Kande (1,770m) via the tranquil Seti River bank. From there, the trail ascends to Australian Camp (2,060m), a perfect spot for panoramic views of the Annapurna range. The trek continues through peaceful forest trails and charming villages to Pitam Deurali (2,100m), Forest Camp (2,600m), and High Camp (3,580m) by the third day. On the fourth day, begin an early morning hike to Mardi Himal Viewpoint (4,200m) and Base Camp (4,500m), where you’ll witness breathtaking sunrise views over Machhapuchhre and the surrounding Himalayas while sipping a warm cup of tea or coffee. After descending, spend a night at Badal Danda (3,210m), known for its dreamy cloud-covered vistas and 360° mountain views. If you’re trekking in April or May, you’ll be treated to stunning rhododendron blossoms throughout the forest. The final day takes you through Low Camp (2,970m) down to Siddhing (1,850m), where your vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Pokhara.
