Made in Nepal !! What started as a hobby has now become a successful business. Through hard work, dedication, and determination, Abha Basnet has built her own identity as a young entrepreneur.

Originally from Kathmandu, Abha always wanted to do something meaningful while continuing her studies. After completing her MBA from Quest International College, she made a leather wallet just for fun.

She had no plans to start a business, but after posting a photo of the wallet on Facebook, she received more than 50 orders within a week.

The positive response encouraged her to turn her hobby into a business. When a corporate company placed a large order, she decided to take the next step.

In 2024, she founded Raw-Hide Leather with an initial investment of NRs 7 lakh. To start the business, she sold her stock market investments, believing in the potential of Nepali-made products.

At just 25 years old, Abha Basnet transformed a simple hobby into one of Nepal's fastest-growing leather brands. After completing her MBA, she handcrafted a leather wallet for herself and posted it on Facebook, unexpectedly receiving over 50 orders within a week. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, she sold her stock market investments and invested Rs. 7 lakhs to establish Raw-Hide Leather. Today, the brand manufactures premium leather products, provides employment to several people, and is preparing to open its first showroom, while inspiring aspiring entrepreneurs to believe that passion can become a successful business.
