I spent a lovely day visiting customers all around Auckland (and a bit beyond) today.

🌟 Yes I do house calls to help you along your embroidery machine journey 🌟 this is why I run flexible hours so I can offer a personal service to my customers (I don’t just drop and run 😂)

I feel like I’ve spent the whole day talking about TENSION. It made me realise that understanding and learning how to adjust the tension on your embroidery machine is by far the most empowering knowledge an embroiderer can have, and yet it’s something that catches so many people out. A lot of embroiderers feel nervous about adjusting it for fear of breaking something, even when things are out of whack and driving you up the wall!

If you’ve got a tension problem and you’re too scared to adjust it, 🚨🪧 here’s your sign 🪧🚨 to stop being scared of it and start learning what your machine is trying to tell you!

Ever designed something… then realised it won't fit in your hoop?

Hoop size is one of the biggest limitations on many home embroidery machines.

The Halo X has a 240mm x 360mm embroidery area, which opens up a lot more possibilities for larger designs.

That means things like:
✔️ Bigger jacket backs
✔️ Larger towel designs
✔️ More detailed embroidery
✔️ Fewer re-hoops

Some embroidery designs look simple… until you open them and realise they have 10+ colour changes.

On a single-needle machine that usually means stopping, rethreading, and restarting over and over again.

Multi-needle machines keep multiple colours threaded so the machine simply switches needles automatically while stitching.

It's one of the biggest reasons embroiderers eventually upgrade.
