I had a chat with one of my clients about why some their F45 members questioned the value of their membership.⁣

I said its most likely they're not seeing momentum.⁣

If people don’t feel progress, they question the value.⁣

And if they question the value long enough, they will leave. ⁣

I explained to him that he needs to start caring about each member.⁣

They're there cause they want you to help them change their life!⁣

So now, he’s going to reach out to all of them, talk goals, set new ones, and check in regularly.⁣

We’re adding a goals wall in the studio, so every class, their coaches will get their members to look at their goal to remind them why they're showing up today.⁣

That goal is the "value", and that’s how you boost retention and energy.⁣

By actually giving a f about your clients and getting them results :) ⁣

You want to be that studio where you monitor progress and keep people accountable.⁣

If you help them get results, they’ll become your biggest fans.⁣

They’ll rave about you to their friends and become your walking billboard.

Clients quit when expectations aren’t set properly from day one.⁣

When someone joins your program, they’re looking for proof they made the right decision.⁣

They’re scanning for signs of progress.⁣

If you don’t clearly define what progress looks like at the start, they’ll define it themselves.⁣

That’s where things usually go wrong, as most clients use the default measurement - the scales. ⁣

If it doesn’t move fast enough, they assume nothing is happening.⁣

Meanwhile their strength is improving.⁣

Their waist is coming down.⁣

Their energy is better.⁣

Their consistency is higher than it’s been in years.⁣

But none of that counts in their head if you haven’t framed it.⁣

The first four weeks should have clear milestones agreed upfront.⁣

Not vague goals.⁣

Defined markers like:⁣

- How many sessions completed.⁣

- Steps hit.⁣

- Lifts increasing.⁣

- Compliance percentage.⁣

You set the success metrics with them at the start, so they know they're making progress. ⁣

When clients can see they're making momentum, they stay.⁣

When they can’t see it, they quit.⁣

Momentum is a key driver of retention.

Sometimes what holds you back isn’t fear or doubt...⁣

It’s the belief that you have a 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 that needs fixing before you can move forward...⁣

It can get people thinking, "I must have some block that’s stopping me from getting what I want"...⁣

From here, that thought becomes the thing that keeps you stuck...⁣

This is called a meta belief in NLP...⁣

When you have a 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳...⁣

It’s a concept used in NLP to explain how deeper layers of thinking can quietly create resistance...⁣

They can shape how we see ourselves, what we think is possible and whether we take action or not...⁣

I was talking to my clients about this today...⁣

How easy it is to fall into the belief that growing a business is hard...⁣

That success is only for the lucky ones...⁣

And once you believe that, your mind will start scanning for evidence in your life to prove it’s true...⁣

That’s how the brain works...⁣

It filters your reality to match your beliefs...⁣

The more evidence you collect...⁣

The more real it starts to feel...⁣

It stops feeling like a passing thought...⁣

And starts feeling like a fact...⁣

And that’s when we fall into the trap of trying to fight the belief...⁣

We sign up for more courses...⁣

We chase the next strategy...⁣

We keep searching for something to finally fix the block...⁣

But all of that still comes from the belief that something is missing...⁣

So the belief stays alive...⁣

Not because it’s true...⁣

But because we keep feeding it...⁣

So how do you let it go...⁣

By realising it’s just a thought, that you’ve been validating for so long...⁣

But you don’t have to keep doing that...⁣

You can stop right now and choose a new thought...⁣

One that supports the results you actually want...⁣

And then start looking for more evidence in your life to prove this to be true...⁣

Because when you do this, it will start to feel more real cause you've got evidence to prove it...⁣

And over time...⁣

That thought becomes your new belief...⁣

One that fuels action, builds confidence and creates momentum...⁣

You’re just one new belief away from the results you want.
