Six months ago, I made a decision. Not to be perfect, but to become better.
Looking back today, I'm proud that I stayed consistent.
Was it easy? Not even close.
Were there mornings when the 4:00 AM alarm felt impossible? Absolutely.
Were there days I didn't feel like running 5km? More than I can count.
But that's the thing... growth rarely happens on the days you feel motivated. It happens on the days you choose to show up anyway.
The biggest changes haven't just been physical.
I've slowly felt my energy return. I find myself saying "yes" to my kids more often instead of, "Dad's too tired." My sleep has improved, my focus is sharper, my confidence has grown, and the aches and pains have become less frequent. And yes... the tummy is finally starting to shrink! ๐
I'm still working on my nutrition. I don't get it right every day, but I'm making better choices, drinking more water, cutting back on alcohol, and replacing old habits with healthier ones. Progress over perfection.
This journey has reminded me that consistency beats intensity every single time.
The same principle applies in business. Big results rarely come from one massive breakthrough. They come from showing up consistently, making small improvements, and trusting the process, even when you can't yet see the finish line. (I have some work to do here ๐)
I'm only six months in, and this feels like just the beginning. Here's to becoming healthier, stronger, more present, and building a life that gives me the energy to enjoy every part of it.
One day. One workout. One choice at a time. ๐ช
