Liddells Pharmacy has been a trusted part of the Pukekohe community since 1946 💙
It’s a place where locals are greeted by name, where care extends well beyond the counter, and where decades of knowledge help keep our community healthier every day.
The story began when Mr Hargraves opened Hargraves Pharmacy on King Street. In the 1960s, a young Bob Liddell joined the team, later taking the reins and becoming the friendly, reliable pharmacist Pukekohe knew and loved. His commitment to genuine care set a standard that still guides the pharmacy today.
Now, owner Bahareh is proudly carrying that legacy into its fourth generation. She took over in 2019 — just six months before COVID and while heavily pregnant — and, with the support of a devoted team bringing more than 150 years of combined experience, Liddells has continued to grow and serve the community with heart 💪
Liddells Pharmacy is so much more than a place to pick up your medication. They offer free prescriptions, free deliveries 🚗💊 three times a week, blister packing, ear micro-suctioning, cryotherapy, heart-health screening (with cardiologist oversight) ❤️, a full travel clinic 🌏, strep-throat swabbing, and much more. Their Hardie’s supplement range even comes with complimentary naturopath support.
Many customers have recently avoided long waits at urgent care thanks to Liddells’ quick strep-throat testing — often in and out in just 20 minutes. That’s what real community care looks like.

🏡💦 Based right here in South Auckland, AquaStyle Pools Limited is all about turning backyard dreams into reality — built on honesty, integrity, and a genuine passion for helping people choose what’s right for their lifestyle.
With a background in large-scale construction projects — from supermarkets to methanol plants — Michelle swapped industrial sites for backyards, bringing her project management expertise and eye for detail to create stunning, stress-free pool experiences. In 2017, she and Nick launched AquaStyle Pools Limited , proudly partnering with Compass Pools, one of Australasia’s most trusted and innovative brands.
💪 Their ceramic core technology makes each pool ultra-strong and built to last, with a lifetime warranty to match. They’re also the only pools in the world that offer a lifetime warranty against hydrostatic failure thanks to their patented ‘Hydropro’ hydrostatic valve that protects your pool from popping out of the ground during extreme weather events — and the optional Vantage self-cleaning system means your pool looks perfect, effortlessly. A total game changer for pool ownership.
🌟 But what really makes Aquastyle shine is Michelle’s genuine care for her customers. She takes time to understand every client’s lifestyle and needs, going above and beyond to deliver a truly personalised experience — something the big brands just can’t match. The proof? Dozens of glowing 5⭐ Google Reviews from happy local families who love their new pools and the journey that got them there.

Alder Homes Ltd began in 2016 when Tim Alder, a seasoned builder with over 27 years of experience and a father with more than 60 years in the trade, decided to create a company with partner Tracey, built on trust, quality, and craftsmanship. From the start, Alder Homes Ltd has focused on creating spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle and vision—whether it’s a custom new build, a thoughtful renovation, or an elegant extension.
One unforgettable project saw the team bring a condemned leaky home back from the dead. About 70 percent of the framing had rotted away, while the rest required intensive timber treatment and structural repair. Working closely with council and timber specialists, Alder Homes stripped, replaced, and rebuilt the structure—transforming it from an uninhabitable shell into a stunning, fully compliant home. The council removed its red flag, a new CCC was issued, and the delighted owners later sold well above expectations.
It’s this mix of craftsmanship, integrity, and care that defines Alder Homes today. For anyone dreaming of a home that feels brand-new, beautifully planned, and built to last—Alder Homes is ready to make it happen.

Max and Clare are the proud owners of Mag & Turbo Pukekohe, the spot where Franklin drivers go to level up their rides 🚘💥. When they were looking for a business to buy, they saw the problem straight away—there was limited local choice for wheels, tyres, and accessories. So they brought Mag & Turbo to town, giving locals the range and service they deserved. Three and a half years on, their showroom is buzzing and Pukekohe’s car scene is looking sharper than ever.
Today, they’ve got the biggest wheel display in Franklin, plus an “endless aisle” screen that shows off hundreds more options. From tradie utes with lift kits, family cars needing fresh tyres, weekend hunting rigs with snorkels, to classic hot rods and performance builds, their team has it covered 🛠️🔥. Add brakes, servicing, suspension, and more, and it’s truly a one-stop shop. Oh—and they’re the only five-star Google-rated tyre and mechanical business in Franklin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
One of their favourite parts? Seeing tradies compete for the biggest wheels and highest lifts—a friendly rivalry that keeps the workshop full of laughs 🛻⬆️.
Show some love for this hardworking local crew—like 👍, comment 💬, and share 🔄 to keep Franklin rolling in style.

Computer Food has been keeping offices and homes across Pukekohe and beyond running smoothly since 1997 ✨. What started out in a garage on a fold-out table has grown into a trusted local business known for fast delivery, great value, and customer care that goes the extra mile. In 2020, right after the first lockdown, Peter Elliott took over the business — and just as Kiwis were setting up home offices and tackling homeschooling 📚, demand for printer ink, stationery, and supplies skyrocketed.

Today, is the place to go for everything your printer “eats” 🖨️ — from original cartridges to high-quality compatibles that can save up to 60%. They also stock ergonomic keyboards and mice to keep workplaces healthy 💻, and even supply 3D printer filaments for the makers and creators out there.

What sets them apart isn’t just price — it’s service. With over 1,650 Google reviews averaging 4.9⭐, the proof speaks for itself. One local story says it all: an elderly customer came in ready to buy an expensive ink tank printer. Instead of making the sale, the team explained why it wasn’t right for his lifestyle. He left without a printer that day — but with the knowledge to make the right choice, saving him hundreds in the long run. That kind of honesty builds loyalty, not just sales.

Meet Marty Foote 👋 – the heart and hands behind Foote Forward Cabinetry in Pukekohe. With nearly 30 years of experience in the trade, Marty has built everything from sleek new kitchens to clever storage solutions, always with a down-to-earth approach and a focus on giving people what they actually need (and can afford!).
After decades in cabinetmaking, Marty decided it was time for a change – not to leave the trade, but to take the leap and start his own business where he could work directly with customers from start to finish. That’s where the real satisfaction lies for him: sitting down with someone, sketching an idea, then turning it into something real that transforms a home. 🏡✨
What makes Foote Forward Cabinetry different? Flexibility. Marty can tackle big-budget “dream kitchen” projects just as easily as a cost-conscious laundry makeover. From repurposing cover sheets for shed cupboards 🌸 to creating high-end, polished cabinetry with premium finishes, Marty’s versatility and trusted supplier network mean no two jobs are ever the same.
One happy customer started with a small laundry project. Impressed by the result (and the fair price), they soon lined up their next job, proving that when you deliver quality, one job often leads to another. That’s the magic of local craftsmanship – building trust, one project at a time. 💪
If you love seeing local talent shine, support Marty by giving this post a like 👍, drop a comment 💬, and share to spread the word 🔄.

Buying or selling a home is one of life’s biggest milestones 🏡—and it pays to have someone on your side who knows the ins and outs. That’s exactly what Village Conveyancing, based in Patumahoe, is all about.
Owner Marie Galvin has more than 12 years of conveyancing experience under her belt, and in 2024 she took the leap to launch her own business 💪. With specialist qualifications, trust accounting expertise, and a friendly, approachable style, Marie created Village Conveyancing to give locals a reliable service they can trust when it comes to property transactions.
What sets Marie apart is her focus on protecting clients before issues arise. She goes beyond the paperwork—checking contracts, dealing with banks and brokers, and making sure every detail is watertight. Her specialist knowledge means buyers and sellers avoid costly mistakes and stressful surprises ✨.
One client story highlights this perfectly. A buyer was ready to move forward with a property when Marie spotted potential red flags with the building. Instead of relying on the vendor’s report, she guided her client to get an independent one done. That report uncovered serious issues linked to leaky building risks—saving the client thousands of dollars and a lifetime of stress 💡.
At the end of the day, Marie believes property should be exciting, not overwhelming. With Village Conveyancing by your side, you can move forward with confidence knowing every box is ticked ✅.

Meet Regenerate Beauty & Body Therapy ✨ – Pukekohe’s down-to-earth skin clinic where science, sustainability, and a big dose of local heart come together ❤️. Founded by Maree Westren, Regenerate was born from a lifelong passion for skin health and a desire to help people understand – and repair – their skin barrier, rather than just sell them products.
Maree swapped the glossy marketing world for an education-first approach 🧠. She uses cutting-edge tech like the Obser 520X (normally found in hospitals) alongside sustainable, high-performance products from Australian brand awarding winner Roccoco Botanicals 🌿. These products are 99% plant-based, tailored to our climate, and even feature innovations like a plant-based retinol you can wear in the sun 🌞.
It’s not just about the product – Maree takes a holistic view, looking at lifestyle, environment, and even gut health to get results. Just ask Jamie, a 16-year-old who once avoided going out because of her skin. After targeted treatments and gentle LED therapy, she’s now confident, happy, and wearing her hair up and getting out there again 💃.
Regenerate’s focus is local – Maree lives local and loves supporting the Franklin community. With Pukekohe’s growing population, she’s committed to helping more locals feel confident in their own skin, one face at a time.
If you believe beauty should be more than skin deep, give Regenerate a follow, drop a comment to support Marie’s mission, and share this to spread the local love 💬💛.

🛠️ Meet Evan Wheeler – the man behind Counties Scaffolding, a trusted name in scaffolding since 1998. Based in the Paerata Business Estate just outside Pukekohe, this proudly local company supports builds across Auckland and North Waikato with a team of up to 26 skilled scaffolders.
What started as a few guardrails quickly turned into a full-service operation when Evan invested in German-engineered Layher scaffolding – a modular, ultra-efficient system that’s 5x faster to install than traditional setups. 💡 While the gear costs more, the speed and labour savings pay it back in no time.
One standout job? A full house renovation in East Auckland where Counties Scaffolding used their shrink wrap system 🏠. Not only did the family stay living inside during construction, but the site stayed completely dry – no weather delays, no soggy framing. Builders could work full days, rain or shine, saving time and labour 💰. Better still, the site was so well sealed that council inspections were reduced – another win for everyone involved.
They’ve taken on complex projects too – like a fibre install on the narrow Tuakau Bridge 🚧. With traffic to avoid and limited space, they worked with German engineers to create a clever scaffold solution that didn’t interrupt a single vehicle.
Counties Scaffolding is proud to have the ongoing support of many local builders and business clients in the Franklin district – the strong foundation behind their continued success. With the local business community and loyal customers like Watercare and Auckland Meat Processors, they’re known for rock-solid service, smart solutions, and getting the job done right 💪
