Dark cherry, wild herbs and subtle spice come together with depth, structure and a long, silky finish.

And it’s making its mark beyond the Station too, earning 91 points at the 2026 Sommeliers Choice Awards in Chicago.

Our Leefield Station Chardonnay 2024 has been awarded Double Gold and 96 points at the International Sommeliers Choice Awards in Chicago.

Crafted from a single vineyard on Leefield Station in the Waihopai Valley, this wine reflects the character of the land, the season and the people behind it.

The judges described it as:

""A complex, reductive profile with creamy beeswax, subtle mineral notes and fresh green apple acidity.""

This result also contributed to Marisco Vineyards being named New Zealand Vineyard of the Year and the White Wine Producer of the Year.
