Why I’ve kept on with The Business Circle?…

I understood that finding clients directly wasn’t a sustainable way to growth rather….

I understood that finding connections to collaborate was critical to access resources that I otherwise couldnt have on my own…

I understood that finding partnerships meant that we worked towards the same goals and shared on responsibilities to loosen the load

I understood that showing up to support others meant that others would show up for me whether it was through introductions, lending a hand, shared expertise helps build long term trustI understood that in sales helping others will provide more value through a ripple effect later in referrals than a direct transaction….

Have you had a coffee with Har Prit Kaur at Ray Property Management

If you haven't, come along and meet her at our next event held next Thursday 27th June.

At our latest Business Circle networking event, we had the privilege of hearing from Har about Ray Property Management, and what a powerful and relatable journey she shared.

Har’s story is grounded in authenticity, experience, and a truly human approach to business. As both a property investor and owner herself, she understands firsthand the challenges that come with managing properties — and that deep understanding is what led her to start her own property management company.

What sets Har apart is her ability to read a situation, communicate with clarity, and tailor her approach to the needs of each person she works with. Not everyone is an expert!

How often do we find ourselves endlessly planning, meticulously outlining every detail, but never actually doing?

It's a common trap, especially for those of us juggling multiple roles. We convince ourselves that "perfect preparation" will lead to perfect results. But the truth is, action – even imperfect action – is where progress truly lies.

As a mum of three toddlers, I know what "full plate" truly means. Adding business tasks on top of that? It's a masterclass in time management (or a lack thereof!). I realized that while small, incremental tasks felt productive, they weren't moving the needle in the way I needed.

That's why I'm making a conscious decision to delegate. Those essential, but non-income generating tasks that drain my time and energy? They're going to someone who can do them better, freeing me up to focus on what truly drives my business forward. Sometimes, the most productive action you can take is letting go.

Okay, real talk...

My shift from diving deep into market trends from behind a computer

to actually making something with my own two hands (alongside my incredible sister!) has been… eye-opening!

Let's just say my hands are a lot more calloused these days, but honestly? It's been such a rewarding change.

One of the biggest lessons this new adventure has thrown my way is the absolute CRITICAL importance of truly knowing who you're building for before you build everything else.

We launched, started seeing some data trickle in, and it hit us – the vision we had for our ideal customer wasn't quite matching reality.

Our website, still in the works, was heading in a direction that wasn't aligned with the amazing people actually connecting with our product.

It was a moment of "whoa, okay, time to adjust!" And honestly, that's where my market research background really kicked in.

It reminded me that all the strategic planning in the world won't land if you don't deeply understand the humans on the other side.

So, if you're building something new, please, please, please – talk to your potential customers, gather that data, and let it guide you before you finalize that website or launch that big campaign.

Trust me, it's a game-changer.

After a few weeks of sharing about March projects, this is my final call – let's make it count!

I've been reflecting on how much I truly love helping businesses bring their visions to life with the power of solid market research. It's not about 'guessing,' it's about validating your brilliant ideas and ensuring they resonate with your audience.
