As a successful Business Broker, one of the frustrations is often the sellers business had not been prepared for sale, meaning they often wouldn't be able to sell the business for what they could have had it been ready.
This got me thinking how could I help these business owners much earlier in the sales process, by helping them with business planning and exit strategies.
I didnt want to become just another business coach - I might add the business consulting industry is unregulated - Dangerous?
I wanted to ensure my credentials as a professional and the systems and team I work with would withstand any scrutiny hence I'm proud of the fact that I have now became one of only a handful of Certified Business Advisors in NZ - Certified through the Australian Institute of Business Advisors and also became a registered practitioner of the MAUS small to medium size business planning system.
Becoming a Certified Business Advisor involved significant study and commitment to ensure the highest standards are maintained when working with clients.
The MAUS system, was developed in the ANZ region for ANZ businesses and such is it's success that it is now exported around the world.
Having access to a number of other advisors who have their own specialist subject areas and who hold the same values as me ie becoming certifed and using the same MAUS system as me, is very important I'm proud to now be an associate of BSP Advisory Group.
