Trying to work when you're a single parent is hard... I'm so grateful for my regular clients who are understanding when my kids are sick! I'm working on not feeling guilty when I have to reschedule, but I hate being unreliable and that's what it feels like, it's awful letting people down. 😓
I wish there were more jobs for parents during school hours, I didn't have any luck finding one when I was looking & that's why I decided to start Kelly's Helping Hands ❤️ It's great to be able to set my own working hours and be able to be there for my kids when they need me.

What do you struggle with?
I struggle with keeping up with cleaning the dishes!
Because I cook every day, + most things from scratch (me being a gluten free vegetarian & my kids not). I'm really proud of myself when I manage to have a clear bench 🥰. Sometimes it's overwhelming, I'm tired & just want to leave it. Sometimes it's the memory of my mum doing everything on her own and frustratingly/passive aggressively banging dishes as she cleaned. We all struggle with something! Stop being hard on yourself because you can't keep up with chores or your house doesn't meet someone else's expectations. You might just have different priorities, ability or capacity, for now or for always.
