Puketitiri Project – From Concept to Creation ✨🌿


Progress continues... 🌱

Stage Three of this transformation is well underway.

This stage has included extensive site clearance, including the demolition and removal of disused water tanks and a dilapidated shed. As previously mentioned, a secondary entrance has now been constructed, along with additional off-street parking.

Once we had achieved a true "blank canvas", further discussions with the Smith family led to several exciting design refinements. The driveway will now continue around the home, creating improved access and functionality. By lowering the finished ground level, the proposed deck overlooking the pool will become a true feature of the property, while also providing the opportunity for a covered carport beneath.

As always, our objective is to ensure every stage builds upon the last—balancing practicality, aesthetics and long-term value while remaining sympathetic to the character of this incredible property.

We're excited to continue sharing the journey as the vision becomes reality.

The Nest – From Concept to Creation ✨🌿



This local kindergarten recently received a much-needed makeover, including general tree work and chipping, new limestone pathways, and fresh bark throughout the play areas.

What once felt like a forgotten and underutilised space has been transformed into a vibrant environment full of life, activity, and imagination—a place where the next generation can enjoy the outdoors and simply be Kiwi kids. 🌱

Stage Two of this transformation has focused on extensive site clearance, contouring, and land sculpting. Our vision is to transform what was once an unmaintainable challenge into a unique, functional landscape that complements both the home and the surrounding outdoor spaces.

Carefully formed terraces create balance, scale, and long-term practicality, while the almost amphitheatre-style landform frames either the lawn or the home, depending on the viewpoint—creating a landscape that is as visually striking as it is functional.

We're excited to continue sharing updates as this project evolves and the vision becomes reality.

Havelock North – Simplicity & Practicality 🌿✨

This client wanted crisp, clean lines and exceptionally low maintenance. The brief was simple: eliminate the need for constant w**ding while embracing the existing olive trees, which will eventually mature into a pleached hedge.

To achieve this, we constructed a ‘hardy’ wooden edge as previously used onsite, followed by w**d mat, premium mulch, and carefully selected planting. Star Jasmine was chosen for its hardiness, evergreen foliage, and minimal maintenance requirements, meaning an occasional trim with a hedge trimmer.
