🐄 Innovation that keeps dairy farming resilient.

Michigan State University’s new research shows how high-oleic soybeans can boost milk quality and cut feed costs, a great example of how smarter farming helps farmers thrive.

At Tropical Resilience Genetics (TrRG), we’re tackling the same challenge from another angle, through SLICK Genetics.

Our cattle stay cooler, eat better, and perform under heat stress, helping farmers stay productive as conditions change.

☀️ Adapted to Perform in the Heat.

A Michigan dairy farm took a gamble on a new kind of soybean—and it paid off fast. After feeding high-oleic soybeans to their cows, milk quality improved within days and feed costs dropped dramatically. Backed by years of MSU research, the crop is helping farmers replace expensive supplements with...

🔬 Advancing Livestock Genetics in Caribbean 🐄

Tropical Resilience Genetics has successfully completed the delivery of a consignment comprising approximately 4,600 conventional semen straws and 1,000 sexed semen straws to Hi-Pro Farm Supplies part of Jamaican Broilers Group, Kingston, Jamaica.

Following a technical visit by the Hi-Pro team in April 2025, during which they reviewed our breeding programs, quality control systems, our genetics were identified as well-suited to the production environments and requirements of Jamaican farmers.

Subsequent to addressing regulatory and import approval processes in coordination with relevant government authorities, this initial consignment has now been successfully delivered.

This delivery represents the first step in a long-term strategic partnership focused on improving herd productivity, reproductive efficiency, and climate resilience within the regions livestock sector. We are confident that the deployment of these genetics will deliver measurable benefits to farmers operating under tropical conditions.

We look forward to continued collaboration with Hi-Pro Farm Supplies and supporting genetic progress across the region.
