A great day at Alpine Angus with Beef + Lamb NZ, showcasing the StrongBó Auto Weigher and eShepherd Virtual Fencing in action with a mob of Angus stud heifers.
Mark Maitland demonstrated how the StrongBó Auto Weigher captures individual animal weights, providing valuable data to support better decision-making. From identifying growth rates and performance differences to improving drafting, feeding and animal management decisions, the StrongBó Auto Weigher is designed to turn weighing from a manual task into a valuable source of insight.
It was also a great opportunity to showcase the wider Gallagher solutions and the value that accurate, timely animal performance data can add across a farm system.
A big thank you to Stephen and the team at Alpine Angus for hosting us, and to everyone who came along, asked questions and got involved. It was great to catch up with Northland beef growers and have some great conversations about where this technology can this can add value on-farm.
