They said, “Build an online business for more flexibility.”
They did NOT mention I would need the flexibility to remember to post about the flexible business. 😂😭
Because apparently disappearing from social media for a while and then coming back like, “Hey guys 👋🏾” is not an official marketing strategy. Who knew? 😂
But this is real life.
Some weeks I’m on it.
Content planned. Posts going out. Feeling very CEO-ish. 💅🏾
Other weeks, work is busy, family needs me, life is life-ing… and Facebook is somewhere in the corner wondering whether I still own a business. 😂
And this is actually one of the things I appreciate about what I’m building.
Flexibility doesn’t mean doing nothing.
It means taking ownership of when and how I show up.
It means understanding that this is still a business and consistency matters — but it doesn’t have to consume every spare minute of my life.
And even during the quieter seasons, the systems, automation and foundations I’ve put in place can still be working in the background.
So yes… I need to get better at posting consistently. 😂
But I’m also building something designed to work with my life — not require my whole life to revolve around it. 💛
And for me, that’s the kind of flexibility worth building for.
