Really excited to share a project that I have been working on for a while. You can now order photo prints via the Print Out website! The best part is, when you upload a photo, an editing tool appears that allows you to crop and rotate the photo to fit the correct aspect ratio!

There are still a few bugs to iron out with the mobile view, but overall, the system seems to work and is a lot cheaper than setting up a photo kiosk 😅

Check it out for yourself and let me know your thoughts!

I'm trialing these neat colour changing mugs for this year's Christmas gifting rush! I also have the very popular pink mugs back in stock! See all the options and order online at: https://printout.co.nz/shop/print/mugs/

I finally got around to updating my price list and fixing all of the spelling mistakes (I hope 😬)

I have also added a few extra services since I moved into the office - business cards, vinyl cuts and photo prints. If you need help with anything printing related, just come and see me!

My new wide format printer just arrived! With this second machine, I can now print multiple wide format jobs at the same time, making it easier to slot in a sneaky poster while the other printer works on a big set of plans. It can also scan up to A1 size!

I finally made an inspiration stand for the office foyer!

A lot of people have asked if I can print business cards - and thanks to this nifty new trimmer, the answer is now absolutely yes!

This is also a great way to make custom price labels for your shop.

Business cards are printed on 300gsm gloss paper and must be 9cm by 5.4cm. This is my current pricing:

Single Sided:

50 for $12.50
100 for $20.00
200 for $35.00

Double Sided:
50 for $18.75
100 for $30.00
200 for $52.50

If you would like to order some for your business, email me at [email protected], order via my website or swing past my Kaiapoi office!

The Print Out website has just had another big upgrade! This included a major improvement to the checkout process, making it much easier to order your printing online.

It still has a few small problems to fix, but I'm really happy with how it now looks. Check it out for yourself: https://printout.co.nz/

Trimming is what separates professional and amateur printing.

Amateurs will try to stack up loads of paper to cut through it quickly. Professionals take it slow and only cut one piece at a time if necessary.

Amateurs will cut wonky or leave obvious white edges. Professionals will line up each piece and cut in the right place.

Amateurs say "the customer won't notice" when their trimming is a little bit off. Professionals set high standards and only give customers their best work.

Amateurs take shortcuts and often have to redo their work. Professionals know that doing it right the first time is faster than having to fix mistakes afterwards.

If you need professional printing and trimming, just send me a message. I'll do my best to help!

Have you seen the Print Out website recently? Over the past year, I have been putting a tonne of effort into improving the design and function of this website. I wanted to create an online experience that is clean, professional and gets the business ready to eventually have my own physical store!

In some ways, building a website mirrors the journey of starting a small business. My first website was embarrassing, but I put it out there because we all have to start somewhere! Whenever I wanted to add new features or make it look nicer, I had to learn how to do that myself - there was never a budget for developers! What I have now reflects four years of steady personal growth and improvement. It just doesn't happen overnight!

What do you think? Is there still room for improvement?
