Turning over decent revenue

– Always busy
– Still not paying yourself properly
– And somehow have no time

That’s not a motivation problem.
That’s a margin and structure problem.

Most owners don’t need more hustle.
They need:
• Clear numbers
• Clean systems
• Better boundaries
• And the courage to look at what isn’t working

Revenue is loud.
Profit is quiet.
Time freedom is designed.

If you’re exhausted but “technically doing well”…

Your ceiling isn't "market conditions." It's comfort.

Things I won't tolerate as a coach #2

You’re not stuck.

You’re comfortable.

And it’s killing your growth.

You know you’re undercharging.
You know you’re the bottleneck.
You know your team could perform better.
You know you should be paying yourself more.

But the business “works.”

It covers the bills.
It keeps the lights on.
It gives you just enough proof that you’re doing okay.
So you stay there.

Not because you can’t grow.

Because growing would require:
– Raising your standards
– Having harder conversations
– Letting go of control
– Being seen at a bigger level

Here’s what I won’t tolerate as your coach:

Calling comfort “strategy.”
Calling fear “logic.”
Calling burnout “commitment.”
You don’t need more potential.
You need a decision.

Doing important work doesn’t mean the room has to feel heavy.

I flew to Melbourne to spend a few days with a group of women having the kinds of conversations most business owners avoid

.... margins, leadership, standards, hard decisions, and the patterns quietly capping their growth.

The work was serious. The thinking was deep. The shifts were real.

And in the middle of it all, there was laughter.

Because powerful conversations and genuine laughter belong in the same space.

When people feel safe, they think clearer. They’re more honest. They’re more willing to look at what needs to change.
That’s where real progress happens.

The best rooms aren’t tense. They’re honest, sharp, and human.

You can be challenged, held to a higher standard, and still feel light enough to throw your head back and laugh.

Life is serious enough.

Growth doesn’t have to feel that way.
