Client calls. Deliverables. Invoices. Emails. Team things. Strategy things.

Create content. Write a caption. Film a Reel. Edit the video. Add subtitles. Post at the right time. Engage with comments. Check the algorithm. Oh, the algorithm changed again.

OMG.

I hear you. I really do.

Want to know how I know EverySec works?

Because I'm a client.

I also run Inailau — the Pacific Business Women's Network. A community organisation built to support women founders across the Pacific.

When I started, Inailau was completely voluntary.

One in-person event a year.

A few online sessions.

Running on passion — and not much else.

I knew the potential was there. I could see the community that wanted to grow. But I was already running my businesses, supporting my clients, raising my family, and doing all the things that come with being a woman who wears a lot of hats.

A lovely team catch-up as we welcomed back one of our EverySec team members 💻✨

After taking maternity leave in June, she returned this September as a proud first-time mum to a beautiful baby girl.

It was wonderful to hear a little about her journey into motherhood, with another team member also able to relate through her own experience as a parent. Moments like these are a reminder that strong teams are built through genuine connection, not just the work we do.

The main focus of today’s meeting was reconnecting as a team and sharing how each person contributes to EverySec. Our team members introduced their roles and the support they provide across digital marketing, administration, operations and client services.

At EverySec, clear communication and a people-first approach help us work as one connected team behind the businesses we support.

One of the biggest worries when hiring offshore support is this:

Before EverySec, there was Punaoa Business Consulting

My co-founder and I delivered the Punaoa Business Growth Programme together. Via Zoom, in workshops, in business programmes across communities, we worked alongside founders who were building something real.

And what we noticed, every single time, was this:

The strategy was never the problem.

The problem was ex*****on.

Business owners knew what they needed to do. They just didn't have the hands to do it — or the hours.

Social media that wasn't happening consistently.

Admin piling up in the background.

Bookkeeping that kept getting pushed to 'next week.'

And underneath all of it — a founder who was tired, stretched, and wondering how everyone else seemed to be managing.
