A Handyman is a tradesman that has a wide knowledge of trades and skills that are required to complete most jobs around the house or office. A Handyman will happily take on any jobs that would be too small or too complicated for any other tradesman. The advantage you get by calling a handyman is that he can complete various jobs that would require different trades at the same time and the job will
be looked at, estimated and completed the same week, even the same day. Yes, I have a $2m Public Liability Insurance in place. DO YOU SUBCONTRACT ANY OF YOUR WORK? I never subcontract any of my work. It’s always done by myself so you can stay assured that you have a trustworthy and reliable person on hand. If there is a job I can’t take on I will recommend a reliable tradesperson. WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF BUSINESS? The business hours are Mon – Fri 8:00 – 17:00. Saturday work can be arranged after a prior agreement. WHAT AREA DO YOU COVER? I cover all of the Wairarapa. CAN YOU RE-PLUMB AND RE-WIRE MY HOUSE? To do these jobs you will need a fully qualified plumber or electrician who are registered, I am not registered. I am registered to do more basic electrical work and appliances and will happily take on any basic plumbing jobs. WHAT DOES THE HOURLY RATE INCLUDE? The hourly rate is a labour only rate. The fee doesn’t include any materials or extras.
