A recent question reasonated in my mind - " do I have any recent work? - this got me really thinking - it's no secret i find social media the bane of my business -it has been over 12 months since I posted on this page - and I have done a LOT in the past 18 months that I simply have not posted... so I am going to. But first I have done a lot behind my business as well -
A few years ago I joined NZIPP ( NZ Institute of Professional Photographers ) as an affiliate - took me a few more years to enter the IRIS awards - fear of not being good enough etc etc etc, the same old gremlins etc etc .... NZIPP was such a supportive and collabrative group I now love to call my photo family - conferences where we can all come together, monthly meetings, constant chats with others all around the country - celebrating everyone's passion and success..... so back in Sept 2021 I finally pulled the lead out, and applied to be accredited in Wedding - this was a big undertaking having 2 weddings scrutinised and I passed .... so I have been an NZIPP accredited Photographer for over 14 months now. This year after all my entries and results were tallied I had enough points to become not only and Associate Photographer, but I gained a bar to my Associate as well.
So while I may have been absent from social media platforms, I am still very much working hard behind the scenes and really looking forward to showing you some more work :)
