It's a primo day for families to head outdoors and take on the Marine Parade Manu Mission 🕵️👀

The birds from 𝐻𝑒 𝐻𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑀𝑎𝑛𝑢: 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑑𝑠, 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒 at Kahukura Hawke's Bay Museum have flown the nest… well, sort of 😅

They’ve made their way out onto Marine Parade as part of the Marine Parade Manu Mission, with eight birds waiting for you to find. Along the way, you’ll uncover facts about each one and use what you discover to complete the mission.

Finish the mission and you’ll go in the draw to win one of two Napier prize packs, each including:
🎟️ A Napier Discover Pass for two adults and two kids, with entry to Bay Skate, Ocean Spa, Faraday Museum, National Aquarium of New Zealand and Par2 MiniGolf, plus a bonus return visit
🎲 Monopoly Napier Edition
🍔 A $100 Community Burgers NZ voucher

Pick up an entry form from Napier City Council Customer Service Centre, Napier Library or Taradale Library, or complete the online form: www.napier.govt.nz/manu/

Complete your mission and enter by 5pm, Tuesday 27 October 2026.

Prawn burgers are back for a little while.. They're made in really small batches so we've only got them available in the restaurant. Can be made gluten-free! 🦐🍤
