After a wonderful but long semi-spontaneous roadie up the West Coast across to Motueka and down the East Coast we return to Queenstown on the longest day with the garden in full bloom. The biggest strawberries and swathes of roses. Happy Summer Solstice.

Transition is just that - a transition. A push, pull, forwards and backwards motion where everything feels a little discombobulated. That’s what I remembered yesterday when I was feeling crappy. It’s just that I am / we are in transition. Coming out of winter hibernation in whatever form that took takes time. Be gentle with yourself. There is no hurry.

Build your new rituals and rhythms to serve you for who you are today and remember the ones that worked last time.

Seasonal living is embracing the constant shifts, the gradual changes that will never stop. The cycle continues always.

Are you feeling the transition too?
What are you needing right now?

Let’s make winter our Wise Woman season. The season we intentionally lessen the noise, distractions and over-doing to create space to breathe and listen. To connect to our bones and blood.

Regardless of what stage in life you are winter can be an opportunity to go deep into your own cave, light the fire (or tend the embers) and ask those divining questions of yourself.

What do I really desire?
What can I shed and compost?
What to I want to create?
How do I want to live this next season to come?
What does this mean for my business?

If you desire to find you again then buy the new Winter Rhythm Guide and start finding your way back to you or reaffirm what you know to be true already.

“ I give myself full permission to feel winter. To honour the energy of the season, the energy of where I reside and my internal energies. This is the season for deep listening, letting go and resting for Spring. I am still on my path even without a plan and even when I intentionally pause and rest”

If you created a Winter mantra or manifesto statement for yourself what would it be?
