Due to our work increase, several full time positions have become available for permanent full time class 5 drivers in our family based operation.
Experienced log truck operators would be an advantage but experienced drivers wishing to enter the log transport industry will be considered based on personal attributes and work history.
# Full training and supervision will be provided.
# Applicants will need to be health & safety conscious, motivated, physically fit & healthy to maintain a consistent workload Monday – Friday & Saturday when required.
# We offer good hourly rates and equipment in a positive team environment.
# A Pre-employment drug test will be required.

Full steam ahead!! Great news.

SH1 Brynderwyn Hills – works completed and road fully open ahead of schedule.

NZTA has confirmed that despite the heavy rain at the start of the first super-weekend closure, crews pushed through and successfully completed the programme of work. All resurfacing has now been finished, including a full-width asphalt surface, reinstated passing lanes, and the return of the 80 km/h speed limit. As a result, the second planned super-weekend closure (20–23 November) is no longer required.

National Road Carriers expresses our sincerest gratitude to everyone involved for delivering these works efficiently, safely, and ahead of schedule.
This outcome is greatly appreciated by the freight industry and all road users.
