When I was in my last year of teacher training many moons ago an incredible opportunity came up to support our critical theory and personal transformation paper. It was in Botswana, South Africa. At that time I was studying towards a Bachelors degree (Primary teaching) at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa in Rotorua. This trip was an extremely humbling experience.

Mānawatia a Matariki💫
As we celebrate the rising of Matariki we take time to remember our loved ones who have passed, we celebrate the present and we begin te plan for the future. In the last few weeks I have attended two Matariki hautapu dawn ceremonies, celebrated an emormous term at school with 10 weeks of Matariki art workshops, had a Matariki Floating Classroom yesterday with 30 x 4 year olds along with their parents making it a 60pax cruise, its been a busy busy time. So today Craig and I have decided to stop for a bit, and just slow down. We would like to take time to thank our clients, partners and of course our friends and whānau for your ongoing support for our little business.

The Scion Innovation Centre, located in Rotorua, New Zealand, is an award-winning facility that showcases cutting-edge design and sustainability. Craig collaborated with the installation team to ensure effective safety management during the installation process. Another cool project for Craig back in the day.

In 2014 Craig was part of the first employer Māori and Pasifika trade training satellite campus in the Waikato. Craig continues to advocate for education and training opportunities through the projects he leads.
