FULL TIME AT WHAKARUA 🔥🏉

What a way to kick off the season 💪🏽
All roads led to Whakarua Park yesterday and it was unreal seeing every team come together in one place. Mean day for our community, and even better getting to see what everyone’s bringing into the season 👀

Couldn’t be more proud of our Waiapu men with that score 58–24!!
What a game to watch.
Both teams showed up, but what a win for our boys 🔥

The mahi from both the coaches and the players really showed out there yesterday. Playing for each other, backing each other, and doing it for the jersey and the whānau 👊🏽

Massive mihi to all the clubs that showed up and competed, and to everyone who came through to tautoko. Seeing $2400 raised for Matakaoa Junior Rugby 🩵 that’s what it’s really about.

Hope our boys enjoyed their win last night 😏 and are recovering well today…
