Feeling for anyone who has to wash silks or gear after Methven today! 🌧️

On a much brighter note, Our Harmony put in a very brave effort to finish third in tough conditions. Coming from back in the field, she kept battling right to the line and was rewarded with another well-deserved placing.

Two starts for two nice placings across the weekend for our small team 🙌🏻

Harmony has had a couple of little things to work through recently, so we’ve made a few changes in the hope of helping her get back to the level we know she’s capable of.

As breeding season has started, it is possibly going to be Harmony’s final race before she heads back to join the Woodlands Stud broodmare band, although sometimes the threat of retirement is just the motivation needed for a bold showing! 🤞🏼

There are a couple of firsts for her today, with it being her first standing start and her first start on the (wet) grass. She seems really bright and well, so we’ve got everything crossed for a positive showing.

We head back to Addington Raceway tonight for their first Spring meeting! 🌼

Carly has enjoyed a short freshen up since her maiden win, and we’re looking forward to having her back at the races tonight 🙌🏻

The field has attracted some nice types, and there is still improvement to come from Carly, but she has been working well and if everything goes her way we’re expecting another nice run from her.

Hopefully, this is the start of an exciting campaign ahead for Carly and her connections! 🤞🏼🌟

A couple of our familiar, handsome faces arrived back at the stables this week 💙

Billy (Muscle Magic) and Paddy are our two yearling trotting c**ts and they have both done everything asked of them to date, so we can’t wait to see the progress they make this time in.

A big thanks to Jo at Mitchfield Park Equestrian Centre for taking great care of the boys during their spells 💛

We’ve made a few adjustments to her gear and training since her last start and are hopeful of seeing an improved performance today. She’ll need a touch of luck from the wider draw, but she’s in good hands with Seth aboard for this junior drivers event.

Two of our 2-year-olds had an outing to the Addington trials yesterday

✈️ TOMS JET qualified comfortably inside the required time, and handled the whole experience really well.

✨ DREAM ANYWAY was back after a spell and was given a quiet hitout. He’ll take plenty of benefit from the run as he continues to build back up.

It’s great to have another couple of our team stepping out, and hopefully it won’t be too long before we see Tom and Hugo lining up at the races! 💙

Our eight yearlings are progressing nicely, each doing short preparations and stepping up a little more each time. We make sure to listen to each horse, as no two are the same and each handles their workload differently 🐴

We don’t quite have the right words just yet ❤️‍🩹

Today the news has been released that our special boy Bet N Win has been retired from racing.

We’ll honour his incredible racing career properly soon. But for now, we’ll just say thank you, Kenny 💙

After a career that took David and Stacey White on an incredible ride, dual Group 1 winner Bet N Win has been retired from racing. 💙💛

The talented trotter retires with 15 wins from 34 starts and more than $560,000 in stakes.

While his racing days may be over, Bet N Win isn’t going far. He’ll remain with the Whites and is already beginning his next chapter as a future riding horse for their two boys 😍

Montara has enjoyed a few well-deserved days off after her win on Friday 🌟

She’s made the most of a nice, big grassy paddock. And rather fittingly, she found herself right beside her Mum, Far From True, or Rosie as we know her around home (spot her in the background 🩶📸).

Rosie was the very first winner of our training partnership, so she holds a pretty special place in our hearts. Unfortunately, she can’t be bred from anymore, so these days she enjoys a happy retirement, often taking on the role of babysitter for some of our young horses while they’re spelling.
