I was extremely lucky to spend four days with these amazing humans!! People who change lives every day through their practice. We came together to learn about neuroscience, discuss and dissect. The learning was deep, repeated and worked through. Everyone went home with enough knowledge and notes to share this learning with their teams. That is how we change the lives of our most vulnerable!! Learn, share, practice, adjust, learn, share, practice......
In order to learn, we need to feel safe, we need our brain-body to be in a positive space. So we walked the walk during this training retreat. Four hours of down time in the afternoon to get a massage, go for a walk, just rest and reflect. The feedback around this aspect was 100% positive.
We also played "Wired for Life - the brain game". Such a great start to the retreat, a foundation for conversation and reflection throughout the next four days. The photos show you how engaged they were.
