How true is this quote which I read in a book called "Dare to Lead" By Brene Brown.

She says, is not about titles, status and power over people. Leaders are people who hold themselves accountable for recognising the potential in people and ideas, and developing that potential.

When we dare to lead, we don't pretend to have the right answers; we stay curious and ask the right questions.

What Makes A Good Leader: Empathy and Understanding.

Empathy requires imagination. The ability to step into someone else’s shoes and see the world from their perspective.

Great leaders take the time to understand how others see and experience the world, even when they don’t agree with them.

Leadership isn’t just about walking the talk; it’s about being willing to walk in someone else’s shoes so you can lead with greater understanding and empathy.

Daring leadership in a culture that's defined by scarcity, fear and uncertainty requires building courage skills, which are uniquely human

Everyday in my Consulting Business, I am given the opportunity to walk in someone else's shoes for a short while and I feel so grateful to be in the business of leadership and personal development!

Here I am in Paris's 5th Arrondissement on the Left Bank of the Seine. It forms the heart of the beautiful historic Latin Quarter near the famous Bookshop where I indulged myself to a few good books on leadership development of course!

What a treat, as the conductor lead the orchestra with passion and attention to every detail.

Likewise, the heart of leadership is compassion, and compassion is empathy put into action! It’s not just recognizing or feeling someone’s struggle, it’s taking meaningful action to support them through it.

Often, compassion is found in the small things that show people you are paying attention, that you care, and that they matter. ♥

It's why I combine my passion for music with my online consulting business. Music teaches me how to combine compassion and empathy in my daily business-actions, and value the exciting people I work with around the globe.🌎

The Author weaves a business fable about a man who loses his job and money, but finds his way again after he is magically transported, into seven key points in history. ✨

At each location, the man meets historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Anne Frank, King Solomon, Harry Truman and Christopher Columbus.

Each person had a message that held significant meaning for him at such a difficult time, which led him to make seven key decisions, that helped him regain his passion for life and go on to achieve much personal success.

John Maxwell, leadership author says; one of the biggest myths many leaders believe, is that inspiration has to come before the work begins.

In reality, inspiration is often a reward for showing up. Raising your vibration comes during the process, not before it.

Stop waiting for the perfect moment; when you take the first step and begin the work - you'll often discover ideas and opportunities you never would've found otherwise. 🎯

As a professionally trained pianist, my inspiration and increased vibration, happens from the minute I start learning a new piece, play the first phrase, and repeat the next few music phrases several times, before polishing the piece.

The inspiration doesn't happen when I've perfected the whole piece. It happens when I sit down to start doing the work and it immediately raises my vibration.

THANK YOU AUCKLAND! I've been a little quiet here on Facebook this week...

It's been a whirlwind of work and travel. This week kicked off with an incredible stop on our Round the World Business Tour in chilly Auckland -- city of sails. ⛵

I had the opportunity to reconnect with business leaders from around the world, meet so many new faces, share my story with other independent business owners, and watch our invited guests, take first steps toward creating more time freedom in their own lives.

There was standing-room only, from where I absorbed the exciting energy from the back of the room. These global business events remind me how powerful it is being surrounded by like-minded professionals, who are dreaming bigger and taking the required action to move forward.

My *work from anywhere* online consulting business, doesn't just provide an income, it creates a lifestyle. It pays for the adventure-filled trips, gives me the flexibility to work when I choose, and allows me to be spend more time with my daughter + my siblings who are scattered around the world. ✈

I don't take any of this opportunity for granted, since taking my consulting business, in a global direction with the company.
