Living a purpose-driven life: When we lose someone we loved with all our heart, it feels like the world permanently loses its color.
In the beginning, it honestly feels like we are banished to a life of heavy, unending grief. I’ve learned that grief isn't a straight line. It’s a cycle. Just when you think you are finding your footing, the phases of shock, anger, and deep sadness come rolling back in, making you feel like you're starting all over again. It takes its own time, for as long as it takes. Don't rush healing.
Today is the anniversary of my late husband's birthday, and instead of just feeling sad, I want to celebrate the beautiful life I enjoyed with my husband. He loved the mountains, its quiet strength, the grand views, and the peace he found at the summits. When the waves of sadness roll in, I look up and remember him exactly there: standing high, breathing in the fresh air, and smiling.
Happy heavenly birthday to my husband. Your memory remains as vast and beautiful as the mountain peaks you loved so much. 🏔️ ✨
If you've lost someone close like me, remember not one tear is ever lost. Every tear you shed has been collected and stored in the *throne room* on your behalf and is being held in divine escrow with your name on it, gathering interest and waiting for the appointed time when life will return to normality and a-different form of happiness again. You'll learn how to continue life again without them.
Remember, there is a divine and blessed purpose for your life. Keep moving forward, even if just one step at a time.
Have a peaceful weekend ahead everyone. ♥
